My wish for all working women is to have a sponsor and mentor like Serita Acker. Serita, a leader who builds you up while working alongside you, played a pivotal role in my journey. In a nomination letter for a well-deserved award (which she later won), I expressed, “Serita Acker is the reason I can call myself a working mother. She inspired me to continue my story and showed me how to get the job done while being a mother.”
